MARVEL’s FCBD Releases Set Up ‘Game Changing’ Stories for X-MEN, VENOM & SPIDER-MAN

Marvel Comics has released the creative teams, synopses, and covers for its two Free Comic Book Day 2020 releases, which the publisher states will lead to “game-changing” events for several characters.

First up, Free Comic Book Day 2020: X-Men will feature a new tale from Jonathan Hickman and Pepe Larraz that Marvel states will “lead to a game changing summer of X,” and a second story that will “foreshadow an upcoming epic tale from Tom Taylor and Iban Coello.”

Then there’s Free Comic Book Day: Amazing Spider-Man and Venom, which brings together creators Donny Cates, Ryan Stegman, Jed MacKay, Patrick Gleason, and others for “two exciting tales connected to the coming major storylines in Venom, Amazing Spider-Man and Black Cat.”

Free Comic Book Day 2020 takes place May 2.
